Foreign students can apply, at any level:
- in the frame of an exchange programme (ERASMUS, SOCRATES or bilateral programmes)
- as an individual, without specific ties to a partner institution

If you are an independent student, you apply for courses or programmes individually. Proficiency in Romanian may be a prerequisite for you, depending on the programme you apply for. A preparatory year is provided to this effect. There are two types of independent students:
